武 ：商代甲骨文中，上面是长戈，下面是执戈峙立的武士，或持戈静止而立，或举戈而动，代表武的原始本质是通过抗争来维持生存和生命。从西周开始，武被逐渐赋予“德”的内涵并延续千年至今。如左传中记录楚庄王“止戈为武”的理念，即指最崇高的武力不是要涂炭更多的生灵，而是为了达到“和”的目的。
术：指的是在特定领域中使用的技巧或方法。在武术中，术指的是各种武术技艺和训练方法，用于提高战斗能力、自我防御、身体健康和精神修养。
武术是中华文化与世界融合和交流中最具代表意义的名片。以‘武’会友，不仅是武术专业人士切磋技艺，更是对推广这个来自东方的运动类别的认知和流行起着至关重要的作用。

2024年6月8日星期六，第十三届奥地利武术锦标赛暨第一届奥地利国际武术文化节将在奥地利维也纳举行！欢迎大家亲临现场观看这个汇聚世界各地武术高手的武艺与风采！
由国际武联认证的奥地利武术联合会AWF主办的奥地利武术锦标赛从2006年开始，不仅是奥地利武术等级最高的赛事、欧洲专业传统武术高手及民间功夫爱好者一展身手的首选舞台，更是中国和亚洲传统运动在欧洲落地融合的重要典型。
今年更加入第一届奥地利国际武术文化节，以“弘扬中华传统文化、传武永续发展”为主题，融合更佳丰富多彩的内容。含括各流派的拳术、器械、单练、双人演练、功法演练、对练和集体项目、武术兵道、对抗搏击项目等近50类的150项单项和全能比赛。

武wǔ: first appeared in the oracle bone script of the Shang Dynasty(approximately 1600 bce to 1046 bce), its upper part depicts a long spear, while the lower part shows a warrior holding the spear upright. This signifies the primal essence of martial arts, maintaining survival and life through struggle. Since the Western Zhou Dynasty, martial arts gradually gained the connotation of "virtue" and have continued for thousands of years. As recorded in the Zuo Zhuan, King Zhuang of Chu advocated that "martial arts is about stopping the use of force, " meaning the highest form of martial prowess is not to cause more loss of life but to achieve the goal of "harmony."
术shù: Refers to the techniques or methods used in specific fields. In martial arts, it refers to various martial arts skills and training methods to enhance combat abilities, self-defense, physical health, and eventual spiritual cultivation.
Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) represents a symbolic fusion and exchange between Chinese culture and the world. Gathering under the banner of 'wu,' not only do martial arts professionals exchange skills, but it also plays a crucial role in promoting awareness and popularity of this oriental discipline.

Welcome to join us in cheering for the 2024 Austrian Wushu Championships
On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the 13th Austrian Wushu Championships and the 1st Austrian International Wushu Culture Festival will be held in Vienna, Austria! We welcome everyone to come and witness the martial arts skills and charm of world-renowned martial artists!
The Austrian Wushu Championship, organized by the Austrian Wushu Federation (AWF) and certified by the International Wushu Federation, has been a top-level martial arts event in Austria since 2006. It serves not only as a premier stage for European professional traditional martial artists and enthusiasts to showcase their skills but also as an important platform contributing to the integration and harmonization of Chinese and Asian traditional sports into Europe.
This year, the inaugural Austrian International Wushu Culture Festival is incorporated into the event, themed "Promoting Chinese Traditional Culture and Sustainable Development of Martial Arts," featuring a diverse array of activities: nearly 50 categories and 150 individual and all-around competitions, such as boxing, weapons, solo practice, duet performances, martial arts demonstrations, sparring, and group events.
