此次龙年春节民族音乐会的维也纳站将由著名指挥家李心草执棒，琵琶演奏家赵聪、二胡演奏家唐峰领衔，和来自中国中央民族乐团共70余位技艺卓越的音乐家，以中国农历新年的“春节”为始，以时间为轴，聚焦春节、元宵节、清明节、端午节、七夕节、中秋节、重阳节、冬至这八个中国代表性传统节日。整场音乐会以纯正乐器演奏，旨在通过原汁原味的音乐力量捕捉中华文化每个庆祝活动的精髓。

2024 Theme: "Harmony of Heaven and Earth: Chinese Festivals"
Seventy outstanding musicians from the China National Traditional Orchestra will take you on a musical journey through eight traditional Chinese festivals, starting with the "Spring Festival" of the Lunar New Year and spanning through the Lantern Festival, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Chongyang Festival, and Winter Solstice. The entire concert features authentic traditional instrumental performances, aiming to capture the essence of each celebration in Chinese culture through the power of music.

中国春节民族音乐会灵感来自经典维也纳新年音乐会。24年来，从第一场在维也纳金色大厅开始，每逢新春佳节都有一支优秀的中国民族乐团巡演世界。“中国春节民族音乐会”以及上千名中国民族音乐演奏家的足迹已遍及欧洲、亚洲、中东等十多个国家，30多座世界历史文化名城，吸引直接观众逾10万人次。从草原上的马头琴声到岭南的高胡小调，“中国春节民族音乐会”在向海外观众送去来自中国的新春问候的同时，也成为了传播中国民族音乐和文化的重要使者。
中国中央民族乐团（CNTO）是由文化部资助的国家级表演艺术机构，是1960年由周恩来总理主持创建，是中国文化部直属的国家艺术院团，也是代表国家级最高水准、规模最大、艺术最完备的综合性中国民族音乐表演团体。中国国家民族乐团的成员包括传统乐器的管弦乐队和合唱团，他们在国内外都是备受尊敬的音乐家。CNTO首任团长李焕之（1919年1月 - 2000年3月）是著名的作曲家，中国音乐家协会主席。现任团长赵聪是首席琵琶独奏家，国家级荣誉音乐家，国家艺术基金赞助的年轻作曲家。
CNTO的使命是推广中国的音乐传统。凭借丰富的传统和新作品曲目，CNTO长期以来一直为中国的文化景观做出了重要贡献。

The Grant Chinese New Year Concert: Inspired by the classic Vienna New Year's Concert, the Chinese New Year Concert has been touring the world for 24 years. Starting from its first performance at the Golden Hall in Vienna, this outstanding Chinese traditional orchestra has been celebrating the Lunar New Year by touring various countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and more than ten other countries. It has performed in over 30 world-renowned cities with rich historical and cultural heritage, attracting over 100,000 direct audiences. From the melodies of the horsehead fiddle on the grasslands to the erhu tunes of Lingnan, the Chinese New Year Concert not only conveys Chinese New Year greetings to overseas audiences but also serves as an important ambassador for spreading Chinese traditional music and culture.
The China National Traditional Orchestra (CNTO) is a state-level performing arts institution funded by the Ministry of Culture. Members of CNTO—comprising an orchestra of traditional instruments and a chorus—are highly-esteemed musicians both at home and abroad. The Orchestra was founded in 1960, CNTO’s inaugural President Li Huanzhi (January 1919 – March 2000) was an esteemed composer and Chairman of the Chinese Musicians’Association. Current president Zhao Cong is the principal pipa soloist, a musician of state honor, and National Art Fund sponsored young composer.
CNTO carries the mission of promoting China’s musical heritage. With an extensive repertoire of traditional and new works, CNTO has long contributed to the Chinese cultural landscape.
